Settings → your team. Add everyone who goes out, with what each one costs you per day, and tick the van where there is one.
Why it matters: when you say "two men for three days", GafferMate needs to know which two. Naming them means a job priced with you and a labourer isn't priced as if it were two craftsmen.
The van cost gets added to the day rate, so a two-man gang with a van comes out at the real figure rather than just the wages.
You can also assign specific people to a line when you're correcting a duration.
