Attach the plans to a quote and GafferMate takes off quantities from them.
It only uses dimensions that are written on the drawing. It will not measure against a scale bar or by eye — a photographed or rasterised sheet can't be measured that way, and a confident wrong number is worse than an admitted gap. Where a dimension it needs isn't written anywhere, it either works it out from ones that are, or tells you it assumed something and what it assumed.
Every measured line records which sheet it came from and the actual dimension string used, so you can check it against your own copy rather than taking it on trust.
Send the sheets that carry the dimensions — plans, sections, elevations, schedules. Twelve sheets maximum per quote.
Beam and padstone sizes come from the structural engineer's calculations, not from the architect's sheets, so it won't invent those.
